InterviewStudio is a ground breaking new platform that brings speed, efficiency and effectiveness to the hiring manager and job seeker alike.

In the time it takes a Hiring Manager to review a traditional resume, he or she can now, using InterviewStudio, review the candidate's resume, evaluate the results of a nationally recognized assessment test, watch a video taped interview, look for public information on the candidate in Google and identify their social network via LinkedIn, all from the same platform and in a matter of minutes. Based on this broad base of information on the candidate, the hiring manager can quickly determine if the individual may be the right "fit" for their firm and warrant the time and expense of an in person interview.

For job seekers, the InterviewStudio platform offers a candidate the ability to uniquely showcase their complete skills, abilities and talents to a hiring manager and dramatically improve their ability to gain an in person interview.

InterviewStudio was created by an award-winning, pioneering thought leader in the recruitment solutions industry, Colleen Aylward. Colleen has spent the last 15 years as President and Founder of Northwest recruiting firm Devon James Associates, Inc. whose clients have included such industry pioneers as Amazon, Visio, Spry/Compuserve, Xylo, Quintessent Communications, Rhapsody Networks, Avenue A, Cranium, Infospace. These startup companies have depended on her strategic thinking about recruiting solutions (such as her "Onsite Recruiting War Room" model of 1992 which has widespread adoption today) in order to grow their companies quickly and cost effectively.

Consulting daily with dozens of high-growth companies gave Aylward an inside view of the "War for Talent" from all three perspectives:
  • Employers spend a lot of unnecessary time bringing in the wrong applicants, only to find this out in the first 10 minutes of a full day's scheduled interview round. They want more due diligence to be done upfront so as not to waste time and money. And they want to reach farther into the candidate's background and experience to mitigate the risk in hiring.
  • Recruiters want a more streamlined, less exhausting way to screen candidates and a more holistic method with which to present them to their clients. They want candidates to help do much of the due diligence up front before even presenting them.
  • Candidates don't want another service that helps them embed keywords into their resume to then get buried in a database. They want to get in front of the hiring manager NOW.

Preparing to change the game yet again, Aylward is launching her second startup, InterviewStudio.com, that addresses these gaps in the candidate presentation and screening world and drives a new paradigm shift in the hiring and job seeking marketplace:

  • Candidates take on the responsibility of their total presentation to Employers and Recruiters
  • Recruiters and Candidates present a comprehensive data presentation to Employers upfront on one platform instead of through an iterative, piece-by-piece time-consuming process.
  • Employers request total packaged views of Candidates upfront, even before a first interview, to avoid weeks of delay in the hiring process and thousands of dollars in unnecessary recruiting and screening costs.
This paves the way for Employers and Recruiters to begin to access an on-demand library of off-the-shelf views of candidates in a comprehensive presentation platform at their convenience, instead of the mad rush of the desperate candidate search that takes 90 days each time.
